Black Lives Matter street mural
Black Lives Matter Plaza
BLACK LIVES MATTER painted in monumental yellow block letters spanning two blocks of 16th street.
Near St. John's Episcopal Church, site of ongoing protests. Dismissed by DC chapter of BLM as "a performative distraction from real policy changes." Inspired other cities to create similar works.
