From the photographer: This image was painted on plywood covering windows of an Aldi grocery story located at 2912 28th Ave S, the area most damaged during the uprising in May, 2020. It was taken during a walk around the area on Sunday, June 14, 2020. I was struck by the strength, determination, and ferocity of the lion. The eyes are amazing. The artist's signature is in the bottom right of the lion's mane, LHS 2020.
