- Nahël M., a 17-year-old of Algerian descent, was shot and killed by police during a traffic stop on June 27, 2023 in Nanterre, a suburb of Paris. This graffiti was documented at a time when heated protests spread through the city, and on the day of Nahël M.'s funeral.
