Description
This temporary 30-foot by 50-foot mural depicts a brightly-hued symbol of peace and unity in downtown New Brunswick. It features a Black woman surrounded by white butterflies and the Pan-African flag. Around the flag are zig-zag patterns in black, yellow, red, and green.
The artist, Luis-Miguel Caraballo, received help from included his past students at Perth Amboy High School now attending Rutgers University in New Brunswick, members of New Brunswick Middle School Art Klub, city high school students, his family members, and friends.
