Mitrebox Frame Shop.
From the artist: "After painting lions across Minneapolis, I contacted businesses in the North Loop to see if I may paint on their plywood. Sarah Nachreiner, the owner of Mitrebox Frame Store, responded warmly to my inquiry. Unlike the lions which were painted in the urban open air, I painted these quote paintings in the peaceful solitude of the store's back garden with my dog. I used red, white, and blue in reference to the upcoming Fourth of July as well as the guiding words of three female civil rights activists to warn us of complacency."
