Title

Love Power | Bringing Back Bowery

Coverage

350 Bowery, New York, NY 10012

Description

In all-capitalized letters, "Love Power" is written across the top of the mural in bold pink lettering, shadowed by black paint to create a three-dimensional impact.

Beneath Love Power, a wide array of imagery comes together to form one piece. The mural was created on pieces of plywood, covering pre-existing graffiti, so it is unclear what elements are original and which have been added by the artists. The imagery includes: multiple multicolor rainbows; abstract imagery; smiley faces; Patrick Star and Spongebob Squarepants; several eye symbols; soft flowers spray painted without outlines.

Multiple pink triangles are detailed with "BLM" for Black Lives Matter, while two red hearts state "Love Wins".
