Black Lives Matter
Black Lives Matter is written on a marquee. Underneath, there is a chalkboard that addresses a grandmother's vision for her Black grandchild.

To The Grandmothers
Series of black panels with white text.
1. Could we give the police department to the grandmothers?
2.Grandma wants your life to be sweeter. She is the original warrior. and loves you fiercely forever. Give the police department to the grandmothers! Give them the salaries, pensions and city vehicles. Let the cars be badass and on the dashboards. You see brown faces like yours. A fleet of vintages Corvettes, Jaguars, Cadillac, with white leather interiors.
3.No precincts, just love temples. Love temples that got space to mediate and eat delicious food. Mangoes, blueberries, cornbread, peas plus rice that makes your mouth water and soul arrive. Grandma sees the pain in our bravado, the confusion in our anger. Grandma know what oppression has done to our souls and is gonna change it believe that. She had no fear. If you up to mischief, they will pick you up, ask if you are hungry and lead you to the gardens. She wants you to know you are safe and protected, universal. Limitless. Sacred. Sensual. divine and free.
