"Before and after.
I appreciate all the compliments that I've received and all the praise for sharing my artistic voice. I'd really appreciate if you didn't forget the message behind why I painted this. You may think it is beautiful but I should have never painted this. George Floyd was senselessly murdered. This mural will eventually give way to the windows that hide behind, framing a bustling dining room full of people eating and drinking. George Floyd will never sit at one of those tables. The injustice and racism that he and countless black Americans endure each day is what I'd appreciate you to never forget. Raise your voice. Be the change."

Caution, Racism Kills
The artist's description: "This is a piece dedicated to justice for Breonna Taylor. The mural addresses the fact that racism is injected into our society even if there is “caution tape” in the way. Racism ultimately leads to death. Justice would lead to life if we could break the caution tape and inject that into our society."
