BLM Memorial Fence with protest signs
The Black Lives Matter Memorial Fence with protest signs and art. A large banner reading Black Lives Matter in block letters dominates the area that would normally afford an unobstructed view of the White House. There is a yellow wreath situated on top of this banner. The fence is covered with protest signs on cardboard, neon pasteboard, and paper. A wide angle view shows the expanse of the fence. There are multiple posters that reads “America BE Better” “We Can Do Better” “Join Armenia in War Against Turkish Terror” “If You’re Not Outraged Ur [sic] Not Paying Attention.”
There’s a poster that is half white and half black that is split diagonally. Within the fence, there are pieces of tied fabric or paper reading “We Keep Us Safe.” Each word is a different color and it is in pink, orange, green, and white respectively.

There is a panoramic shot of the fence with the Washington Monument in the background and all the posters and an orange and grey sweatshirt that are on poles that make them stand above the fence. There are coolers, chairs, a ladder, tarps, and various cups on the ground in front of the fence.

There is a map of Washington D.C. that has three stencils of Donald Trump’s head spray painted on it and it reads “LIES” which is coming from his mouth and “COVID!” underneath the heads.
Some posters read “Where Was the NRA when Philando was MURDERED?” This is next to a painted portrait of Trayvon Martin that reads “Trayvon” and there is a poster that is the District of Columbia Bicycle Map and has a stencil of Uncle Sam and reads “Hope Yes.” Then there is a written note that reads “ USA ’s Hope Hicks” Another District of Columbia Bicycle Map has a stencil of Uncle Sam and it reads “HOPE This is for you, California.”
There are cardboard posters that read “Racism is Small Dick Energy” and there is a black power fist on an individual cardboard poster. Another poster that has caution tape on it reads “NO JUSTICE” There is another poster that reads “My Daddy is a HERO My daddy is not a Loser” And there are four images of Heath Robinson or his daughter. Heath Robinson seems to have served the National Guard and passed away.

There are white flags that are in the ground and a big billboard that reads “In America How could this happen… 232,657. IG: @InAmericaFlags [;] suzannefirstenberg.com IG:@SFirstenberg” These were the flags that represented the amount of Americans who died from COVID-19.
There are spray-painted words on the ground that read “Jesus loves Black people” and “Agrees that Black Lives Matter.” The word “Jesus” is the only word that is in orange and the rest have been written in white.
There is a poster that has an image of Barack Obama on the right-hand side. On the left-hand side is a black panther hidden in the grass, and Donald Trump, who is behind bars, which reads “Tick Tock Bunker Bitch” and is underneath the panther. There is also a depiction of grass as the background of the poster. In the shape of a heart reads the words “Black Lives Black Love Black Power Solidarity ” The poster also reads “No Justice No Peace!” and there are words in Obama's hand that seem to show that he is speaking, and it reads “They here.” On Obama’s tie, it has the black power fist and reads “Black Lives Matter” and the rest of the words are illegible.
