Protest signs and posters on the Black Lives Matter Memorial Fence, located on the north side of Lafayette Park in Washington D.C.
There is writing and spray paint on a wall which reads “Stop Silencing Black Voices !!!” “I Stand Against Racism” “BLM” and a duct taped hand that is giving the middle finger over the words. There is also a drawing of the black power fist and a peace sign.
On the fence there are multiple posters that read “Black Dollar$ [sic] Matter” and there is a black hand that is in a fist holding onto money and within the hand is a depiction of Africa. Next to this poster are photos of those who were victims of police brutality that are placed on a red poster, and it reads “Say Their Names The Love Train was here”

On a white wall there is a sticker of Donald Trump in prison clothes and cuffed but giving a thumbs up, and it reads “Law & Order.” He has a prison number and that reads “01202021.” This was created by the @1GoodHombre. Above this sticker reads “KEEP HIM OUT ! #FUCKTRUMP” And there is a silver circle with a line through the middle over the sticker of Trump.
There is a poster that reads “WE DEMAND EQUITY NOT EQUALITY” Beside this text reads “Work for [illegible] assholes…” Under the poster there is a post-it note that reads “Black Lives Matter” and on a piece of paper underneath this reads “Black lives are necessary ” “Veterans For Black Lives !!

Protest signs and posters on the Black Lives Matter Memorial Fence, located on the north side of Lafayette Park in Washington D.C.
There is a pastel yellow building that is opposite the Black Lives Matter Memorial Fence and is boarded up. There are painted images that are on the plywood that is covering the windows. These images are all spray painted on the plywood and one is the sunrise (or sunset), one has a woman with a mask with her hands in front of her and looks like she is praying. Another image has the side portrait of a man and there is text that reads “Lve” and “Pinder Story.”
There is a black ripped poster and underneath it is a poster that is pink, purple, and blue, that has a woman in the middle with her fist raised and holding a baby. The woman is in a circle and there is text that reads “Today I am Free • Today I am Strong” There are broken chains on the edge of the poster intertwined with flowers and roots. There is a dove at the top and text that reads “You’re wrong about me I’m a sister and a daughter [;] A mother, aunt, grandmother [;] Not a criminal Not a statistic [;] I have a life I have a dream [;] I am a queen a [illegible]…”

There is a diorama of the White House that is behind a fence and two soldiers on top of it. Underneath the ‘White House’ is a bunker baby, and there is a bush next to this figure of a baby. On the base of the diorama there is text that reads "2020 Fearless Girls."
There is a sticker on a light post that has four black power fists on it. It is separated into fours by a white cross that reads “White silence is violence.” Three of the squares are black with a white fist, and the bottom left corner is a white square with a larger black fist in it.
There is a small gold statuette of three figures depicting Sally Hemmings with one of her children in chains and Thomas Jefferson next to her. The statuette reads “Sally Hemmings, Thomas Jefferson’s slave, bore five of his children. One died, two escaped and two were freed in Jefferson’s will. Please Listen” with specific words underlined in red. A poster in the image of a trans flag reads “Black Trans Lives Matter.” A black poster reads “Black Fathers Matter.” A cluster of posters read “Justice para Vanessa Guillén” “JUSTICE Vanessa” “Gracias Latina Valiente”, which has a flower that is drawn on the poster. There is a poster that reads, “How Could You “LIE” To Us About LIFE + DEATH.”

There is a poster that has an image of the book titled “Free From Slavery Not Free From Racism” which is written and illustrated by Vince Cowan. The poster has a paper on it that reads “Racism is alive and well in America. It is a part of our heritage.
