Description
Plywood covering windows. Over a white and yellow background is center a portrait of a Black woman. Her hair creates the letters in the word PROTECT in a half circle shape, centered over her forehead is the word "Life" in script. The portrait has brown etching resembling tribal tattoos on her cheeks, she has a cowrie shell centered over her forehead and the shape of her eyes resemble the shape of the cowrie shell. Her neck is covered in large colorful beads al the way up to her chin. To the left of the portrait near the top is the words" LA DIASPORA REPRESENTE" in green print, to the right are the words "FROM OAKLAND TO THE WORLD" in black print. To the bottom right are the letters "BLM" which stands for Black Lives Matter. On either side of the portrait is a large cowrie shell, the left one has an artist handle "LADIMEUNA" above the shell, and "DefundThePolice" written in the shell. The cowrie shell on the right has an artist handle "LAMAKINASTO" above it and another artist handle "FewandFarWomen" inside it.
