No Justice, No Peace
A realistic black-and-white portrait of Malcolm X smiling with the words "No Justice, No Peace" surrounding him in bold, stylized lettering. The names "George Floyd, Breonna Taylor..." are slightly visible behind the new mural.

Demilitarize The Police
A line of militarized police officers are painted on plywood panels. Donald Trump's face is on the head of each figure. The figures are holding riot shields that read "VIP" in one hand and small American flags in the other. Swirls of green and blue are at their feet. Above the officers is a banner of yellow with black letters reading "Demilitarize the police" three times, in the style of barricade tape.

BLM Barriers - End Systemic Racism
On June 16, 2020, the City of Seattle erected concrete barriers down the middle of the Capitol Hill Organized Protest (CHOP) and opened the street for traffic. Almost immediately, the barriers were covered in colorful street art protesting police brutality.

Black Lives Still Matter at El Norteno.
Initially, a small sign reading "Black Lives Matter" was in the window of this restaurant. (It is included in this database, identifier UAM-GF_0039). Four large and two small panels of plywood later covered that window, and five others, to protect the restaurant from looting and violence. What was originally a small sign therefore gave way to a multi-paneled work, larger in size and using two languages (English and Spanish). The message did not change, though; it only grew: Black Lives Matter. The restaurant is closed indefinitely.

In Memory of Black Women and Trans Individuals
Three joyous and powerful Black figures join hands in a circle on one panel. The neighboring panel provides the names of Black women and trans individuals who have been murdered. Tony McDade, Sandra Bland, Dominique Fells, Breonna Taylor, Riah Milton are all written in puffy white clouds.

From the artist's Instagram: "This mural is in memory of the black women and trans folks that have been unjustly murdered in this country. Rest in power. ALL BLACK LIVES MATTER!"
