This photo captures an unfinished wall mural in progress located in the International District of Seattle. It depicts a silhouette of a Black person with arms raised and “Hands up, Don’t Shoot” painted in the body.
A solidarity banner displayed in the politically left-leaning neighborhood of Exarcheia combines three slogans: "Make racists afraid again," "A riot is the language of the unheard (MLK)," "From the USA to Greece, solidarity in the streets." The banner is strategically based in the location where in 2008 15-year-old Alexis Grigoropoulos was killed at the hands of the police, thus gesturing to a transnational geography of political solidarity with regard to police violence.
Mural painted on plywood panels in downtown Raleigh, NC that reads, from left to right: "SAY THEIR NAMES," "VOTE," "BLACK LIVES MATTER," "VOTE, VOTE, VOTE, VOTE," "NO JUSTICE NO PEACE," "I CAN'T BREATHE" with multi-racial figures.
A stencil at an entrance to the National Gardens of Athens reads "Nobody can breath[e] under a knee." The stencil was produced on the side of a large BLM/George Floyd solidarity demonstration in Athens on June 3.
Rendered in black and white, a portrait of George Floyd with "BLM" repeated in the background. Larger text reads "SAY MY NAME."

"Before and after.
I appreciate all the compliments that I've received and all the praise for sharing my artistic voice. I'd really appreciate if you didn't forget the message behind why I painted this. You may think it is beautiful but I should have never painted this. George Floyd was senselessly murdered. This mural will eventually give way to the windows that hide behind, framing a bustling dining room full of people eating and drinking. George Floyd will never sit at one of those tables. The injustice and racism that he and countless black Americans endure each day is what I'd appreciate you to never forget. Raise your voice. Be the change."
An image of a young Black woman with large gold hoop earrings and a green afro. Text reads "We Can't Breathe."
